U-452 Sideboard by Jiri Jiroutek for Interier Praha

The U-452 Mid Century sideboard with pink and light grey sliding doors, was designed by the Czech furniture designer Jiri Jiroutek, and is part of the iconic U collection manufactured by Interier Praha in the 1960s Czechoslovakia. This piece perfectly embodies the so-called Brussels Style, named after Expo 1958 in Brussels where Czechoslovakia won 13 prizes including one in the furniture category. This particular model is made with a wooden back and therefore offers more flexible options for placing in the interior. The sideboard is in good original condition. There is some wear and tear on the wooden surface and on the sliding door.
