Pair of "Duxiesta" lounge chairs from the 1960s, designed by Folke Ohlsson for DUX, Sweden. The high teak frames with sculpted armrests and adjustable reclining mechanism offer a relaxed posture. The seats and backs have been reupholstered in neutral wool, close to the original specification, and the original spring interiors have been preserved for typical DUX comfort. Clean lines, slender legs, and sloping silhouettes are characteristic of mid-century Scandinavian design. Sold as a matching pair, easy to place in a living room, reading nook, or studio. Very good vintage condition with minor age-related wear on the teak, functional mechanisms, original brown fabric with a few small stains, but no holes or tears.
