French vintage brass and gold metal 2 light cylindrical glass hall lantern.the gold metal framework is made up of a decotrative round piece at the top and bottom, with 3 bars which hold the glass in place. From the top are 3 decorative curved arms which join at the top on to a central column. The column is suspended in the centre of the light and leads to a leaf shaped candle drip holder and the candle drips are in cream plastic. The glass shade is one cylindrical piece of glass that sits neatly within the frame. The lantern hangs from a 2 link chain, bar and decorative brass ceiling fitting.the lantern has its original 2 core braided wiring and takes 2 small screw in bulbs e14.us and canadian buyers are able to find adapters to use this chandelier with their e12 bulbs (without the need to change the bulb holders). Please search on line 'e14 to e12' adapter. The framework is in vintage condition with lots of marks pitting and patina associated with age. The glass is complete with no chips or cracks.
