Table lamp in iroko. Iroko is a very hard, heavy wood from west africa. It is used in boat building and also in industry. This piece was reclaimed from machinery used in an english coal-mine in the 1980s, hence, the heavily worn appearance. Only two of these lamps exist and they are different from each other. Height of the base is 43cm. Width of the column is 15.5cm. Shade not included.
