‘Magazine’ easy chair & 2-seater by Michael Young

‘Magazine’ easy chair & 2-seater, designed in 1994 by Michael Young and produced by E & Y CO. In the United Kingdom. The magazine sofa and easy chairs got hugely popular in Japan and went on to win the Best UK Design Award in 1996. The very sturdy aluminium frame is holding a polyurethane foam seat and armrests covered with black vinyl leather. The organic open space under the seat can be used as a storage for magazines, hence the name of this original piece. A few very small using marks as shown in the pictures, for the rest in excellent good condition. Dimensions easy chair: W: 86 cm. D: 65 cm. H: 65 cm. Seating H: 41 cm.
