Armchair model 366 by Jozef Chierowski

Jozef Chierowski armchairs were a neatly designed offer for not so spacious living rooms of Polish families back in the communism era. One of the most popular model back in those days that offered comfortable rest position and smartly fitted in smaller interiors. The 366 model (designed in 1962) became a common choice and can still be found in many polish homes nowadays. The armchair features seat and backrest composed of one upholstered element set on a lightly formed wooden base. This set was completely restored preserving the original shapes and angles of the upholstered elements. The fabric chosen for this one (from Italian brand L'Interno di Franco Fabbri ) has a thick structure and visible weave because such type of fabrics were most commonly used for the originals. The wooden base got a fresh finish in light wax oil.
