Vintage Art Nouveau Style Display Shelf

Period: ca. 1920-1940 this column-shaped display stand has three tiers. Its square shape and slatted sides make it much more stable than most stands or display stands; valuable vases or statues can be displayed safely. It can also be used for other items, for example, large books. The front is decorated with scroll-shaped appliques which, together with the shape of the legs, give the stand an art nouveau look. The curved slats are found on both sides; these are quite typical of the 1940s and 50s. It is made of oak wood. Condition: good. Robust. There are some woodworm holes, especially on the undersides of the shelves; these were inactive but I still treated them with a specialist product. Dimensions: 102 cm high, 33 cm wide, 34 cm deep, 6 kg.
