Pair of french empire bronze double wall lights.the backplates are in a traditional empire style in bronze with grooved detail and leaf and leaf decoration.to the top is a urn detail and to the bottom a acorn. The arms are a scroll design with acanthus leaf detail leading to raised candle drip holders which are decorated on the underside. The candle drips are in cream acrylic. The lights have french 2 core wiring and each sconce takes 2 small screw in bulbs e14s. Us and canadian buyers are able to find adapters to use these wall lights with their e12 bulbs (without the need to change the bulb holders). Please search on line 'e14 to e12' adapter. The lights are in good solid condition with age related marks and lovely time worn patina. The bronze has been cleaned but not polished so you can decide on the finish. The candle drips are in good condition with marks associated with use. All of the items we sell are second hand/vintage/antique and used, so please check the photos before purchasing as these form part of the description.
