Mid century rosewood armchairs made by a Danish cabinetmaker in the 1950s. This elegant pair features rich, beautifully figured rosewood frames paired with their original feather-filled black leather cushions. The simplicity of the design, combined with the luxurious materials, makes them a standout example of refined mid century Danish craftsmanship. The chairs have undergone a full and sympathetic restoration. The rosewood was carefully cleaned, stripped, sanded, oiled and finished with French polish and wax to bring out its deep natural patina. The original leather cushions were gently cleaned with the correct soaps and nourished to restore their softness while preserving their age and character. These mid century rosewood armchairs exude understated luxury and comfort. The combination of rare materials and thoughtful design makes them an exceptional find. A timeless pair of mid century rosewood armchairs, restored with care and ready for many more years of use. H 74 X W 71 X D 73 cm. Seat Height 44 cm.
