De Stijl Movement Design Red Chair attributed to Jan Wils, Netherlands, 1920s

Very Rare Early 20th Century design from the 'De Stijl Movement, ' this Dutch Modernist side chair is attributed to Jan Wils and dates to the 1920s/1930s period. Crafted in the Netherlands, the chair is constructed out of red-painted oak, beech, and plywood. According to the previous owner, the red paint was added in the 1950s. The piece remains in good and sturdy overall condition. Dimensions: Height 94 cm, Width 45.5 cm, Depth 47 cm, Seat height 44.5 cm.
