Vintage Cardeilhac/Christofle Crystal Salt & Pepper Cellars: 950 Silver Lid

This Set comprises 4 salt and pepper cellars from Crystal & French.950 Silver (argent massif 950/000), finer than Sterling was made in Paris Circa 1960 when Quality, Workmanship and Detail were Important. Each Crystal Body is Hallmarked for Orfevrerie Christofle. Founded by Charles Christofle, the goldsmithing company of the same name was founded in 1830 in Paris. It specializes in electrolytic gilding and silvering. Furthermore, in 1951, the Christofle company bought the Cardeilhac goldsmith. In original box. Good vintage condition. There are no chips on the glass parts, but the silver on the lids is partially worn. An absolutely beautiful table decoration in an aristocratic style. Dimensions: Height 4.0 cm 1.57 inch.
