French antique early 1900s heavy bronze 4 light art nouveau chandelier. Made from heavy bronze, the chandelier showcases a central column adorned with a graceful swirl motif, culminating in a beautifully detailed decorative finial at the base. Four scrolled arms extend outward from the central column, each intricately decorated with acanthus leaf details, highlighting the ornate artistry of the period. The arms support leaf-shaped candle drip holders, with cream plastic candle drips that complement the chandelier's classic aesthetic. The piece is suspended from a sturdy 6-link chain, featuring three decorative links and a bar, which leads to an ornate ceiling fitter.the light has original french braided twin core wiring and takes 4 small screw in bulbs e14s. The chandelier's bronze structure is in good condition, showcasing a rich, aged patina with areas of verdigris that enhance its character. The candle drips are in cream plastic with age related marks and some wear.
