Space Age Krokus Pod Lounge Chairs by Lennart Bender for Dux, Sweden, 1968, Set of 2

Vintage midcentury modern Scandinavian Space Age "KROKUS" Pod Lounge Chair set by Lennart Bender for DUX. Made in Sweden in 1968 and marked on the bottom. It includes a white fiberglass base with zebra motif fabric. This chair design is an abstraction of a lotus flower created by constructing a deep seat with a round-shaped frame over which the fabric is stretched. These chairs are all original and in very good condition with normal signs of wear from their use and age. The zebra fabric is original to its fabrication date, making this a rare edition. Each chair measures 56 cm high, 84 cm wide, and 82 cm deep. Seat height is approximately 30 cm. Sold as a set of 2 lounge chairs.
