Vintage french large copper hand made hanging lantern with a single central light.this is a large, vintage french hanging lantern, expertly handcrafted from copper. The lantern boasts a classic six-sided design, giving it a distinct and elegant silhouette that captures the essence of traditional french craftsmanship. One of the glass panels is in the form of a door which can be opend to change central bulb and for cleaning. To the top of the lantern are scrolled fleur de lys details and the bottom is closed in and finished with a leaf finial. The copper frame has developed a rich patina over time, enhancing its antique appeal. At its center, a single light bulb is housed within, offering a warm, ambient glow that adds charm to any space. The lantern has its original twin core wiring and takes 1 b22 bayonet bulb. The framework is in good vintage condition with marks and deep aged related patina. The glass is complete with no chips or cracks. The candle drip has been replaced with a new acrylic drip.
