French antique empire regency chandelier. The chandelier features three pairs of gracefully curved arms, each adorned with decorative elements and exquisitely cast female faces. At the center of this opulent piece is a meticulously crafted cut glass bowl. The bowl encases two additional lights, creating a shimmering focal point that reflects and refracts light beautifully. Suspending the chandelier are three long chains that lead to a central cup at the top, providing both stability and a sense of grandeur. From there, the chandelier hangs from a large hoop with a three-link chain, culminating in a decorative ceiling fitter.the chandelier has french braided twin core wiring. The braid is worn in places but the wiring is still functional.the 2 internal bulbs are b 22 bayonett bulbs and 6 exterior bulbs are small e14 screw in bulbs.the frame work is solid with a lovely aged patina, and marks reminiscent of its long life. The glass bowl is in good condition with no chips or cracks.the drips are in fair condition with age related marks.
