Vibrant pottery lamp from Dutch Gouda, made from a rare large-format Flora "Tokyo" vase (circa 1968–77), featuring a glossy fire orange glaze, black graphic lines, and a custom black linen drum shade lined with gold. Professionally wired with a new socket and fabric-wrapped cord; supplied with a US plug or adapted for the country of use. Height includes the shade. The ceramic body is decorated with an original Tokyo pattern produced by Flora Gouda, Netherlands, from the late 1960s to 1970, during a bold period of international modern design. The vase, converted into a lamp, is paired with a custom shade, forming a sculptural lighting object that combines European ceramics and contemporary design. The ceramic features a bright orange glaze almost resembling lava, with matte black patterns that are abstract, architectural, and graphic, typical of Flora Gouda's late modernist style. Amitābha Studio transforms these historical ceramics into unique lighting objects, respecting their integrity while adding luxurious fabric shades, handmade brass accessories, and suitable wiring. Commitment to sustainability and timeless design.
