Limited, unique version of the up5 + up6 "la mamma" armchair with footstool, designed by gaetano pesce, b&b italia. In original and good condition. Visible traces of use, minor abrasions and cracks. At the bottom of the left armrest, the top layer of material was torn off (photo), but the material itself was not torn. The presented version of up5 and up6 was produced by b&b italia on the 40th anniversary of the armchair design from 1969. The limited version consisted of several hundred sets and was only in silver. Each armchair has been numbered and this particular up5 has number 061. The up6 footrest also differs from the standard up2000 version with sliders and a signature. Originally, in the early 1970s, the "la mamma" armchair was sold vacuum-packed by c&b italia. After removing the foil, the chair inflated itself and took full shape within an hour. Unfortunately, in 1973 it was removed from the catalog due to the presence of freon. It returned to production in 2000. The up5 + up6 "la mamma" armchair designed by gaetano pesce is considered one of the icons of world design. This particular armchair and footstool has a history, it was and is still used. It is very attractive and extremely comfortable. The armchair and footstool are fully signed.
