Postmodern "Calin" Double Seater Sofa by Pascal Mourgue for Ligne Roset, 1994

The "Calin" double-seat sofa was designed by Pascal Mourgue for Cinna/ Ligne Roset in 1994. An artist more than a designer, Pascal Mourgue first sculpted some pouffes in the sand before taking the "Calin" armchair into production. It resulted in a chair at the level of comfort as a pillow, on the principle of a folded and reclining pillow. The padding is made of high-density polyurethane foam. The covers are removable and can be easily washed in the washing machine. The base is made of steel epoxy finish aluminium. We have available a full set composed of an armchair, an ottoman, 2 double-seat couches and a corner couch.
