Pair French Art Deco Bookends Spelter Birds Perched on Branch Marble Base. French vintage Art Deco bookends featuring graceful spelter birds perched on leafy branches. Each bird is beautifully detailed with open wings, as if caught mid-flight, and the branches are accented with subtle green highlights that bring them to life. The bases are rectangular and crafted from richly veined marble, adding a sense of weight and timeless elegance. Together, the cool marble and metallic tones create a striking contrast that captures the sophistication of the Art Deco era.The bookends are in good vintage condition, showing light age-related wear consistent with their age. There are a couple of small nibbles to the edges of the marble, which are only noticeable upon very close inspection. Overall, they remain beautifully preserved and display wonderfully.
