DS-140 Sofa by Reto Frigg for De Sede

This highly modular piece can be effortlessly converted into a lounger. The seat swivels 90 degrees to form a double armchair and features adjustable armrests and a tray with leather inlay. An optional removable headrest is available (see last photo). All mechanical functions operate flawlessly. The thick black leather is in healthy condition, free from cracks or significant scratches. It shows some minor loss of sheen in a few areas — consistent with age and careful use. Materials: thick black leather / solid black steel frame. Design: reto frigg. Period: 1980–1989.
