Paire de lampes de table néoclassiques en albâtre laqué

A beautiful pair of neo classical lacquered alabaster, fluted urn table lamps, with brass collars. There are historic repairs to both stems, now highlighted with kintsugi. I love the japanese kintsugi technique of using gold for repairs emphasizing the imperfection of a treasured item rather than attempting to disguise it. The lamps are mid century, circa 1950s and probably italian in origin. The lamps are rewired with ivory twist fabric cable, uk standard brass bulb holders, uk standard black plugs and are pat tested. Height 44cm. Width of lamp 18cm. Width of base 12cm.
