This dining table was designed and produced by Dyrlund in Denmark in the 1960’s. It’s a versatile piece that can be used as a round table for 4 or extended with one or two extra leaves of 50 cm each in case you have extra guests. The style is reminiscent to tables by Niels Bach and Niels Moller. The quality is high, hence the beautiful wengé inlays on the round edges, the sturdy metal support rails underneath and the hexagon shaped edges in solid teak wood, protecting the veneer tops. The tension clasps underneath the top hold the extra leaves together tightly. There’s a few superficial scratches in the varnish and a small chip missing on the inside of one of the solid, blonde teak legs, further in very good condition.
