Lustre cage en bronze Art Noveau à 5 lumières

Vintage french art nouveau style 5 light quality bronze cage chandelier adorned with beautiful faceted crystal droplets.the chandelier is made up of a five sided cage with acanthus leaf detailing and a central decorative finial at the bottom from which hangs a faceted crystal ball. In the centre of the cage formation are 5 cascading arms each with a crystal droplet. From the bottom finial come the 5 scrolled acanthus leaf arms which form part of the cage and lead to decorative leaf shaped candle drip holders. The candle drips are card and in keeping with the chandelier. The chandelier hangs from a 7 link chain 3 of which are decorative a bar and a matching ceiling fitting.the light has its original french twin core braided wiring and takes 5 small screw in bulbs e14s. The bronze has a lovely time worn patina, it has been cleaned but not polished so you can decide on the finish. All the crystals are complete and free from any visible chips or cracks may have small some nibbles. The card drips are in good vintage condition with light ware. We take great care in wrapping our crystal chandeliers, but on occasion some of the crystals may work loose and its down to you to rehang them which is usually a simple process. All of the items we sell are second hand/vintage/antique and used, so please check the photos before purchasing as these form part of the description.
