French At Nouveau Gilt Bronze Semi Flush 3 Light Chandelier Glass Shades 4634

French art nouveau gilt bronze 3 light chandelier with patterned frilled glass shades. This semi flush chandelier is in gilt bronze with a large decorative ceiling fitting. From this come three curved arms each with a grooved detail and each arm leads to a decorative shade holder. The shades are in white opaque patterned glass with a frilled edge which have a amber tinge giving the chandelier a warm inviting glow when lit. The shades are held in place with 3 small screws. The chandelier is working with french twin core wiring and takes 3 b22 bayonet bulbs. The bronze is in good solid condition with wonderful age related patina and the gilt is worn in places which adds to the time worn appearance. The glass shades are complete and free from chips or cracks.
