Mid-century modern sofa set in emerald green, virgin wool, 1960s

This set of furniture was produced by Holm Fabriker from Sweden in the 1960s. Like most furniture from Scandinavia, this set was also made with great care and accuracy, which we could observe throughout the renovation process. It can be transformed into a sleeping bed in a very simple way, the mechanism is flawless. Extremely interesting design and beautiful line that’s still fresh and enchanting nowadays. The set has undergone a thorough upholstery renovation, the seats have been completely replaced and the new upholstery fabric comes from one of the most luxurious upholstery brands - the Danish company Kvadrat that is famous for its great quality and fantastic range of colors. The fabrics from Kvadrat are used by the most luxurious furniture brands and interior designers. The textile we have used in this particular project is „Tonica 2” in deep green melange color composed of 100 % virgin wool. The gray fabric used on the inside is linen combined with cotton. The furniture is set on a wooden frame with beautifully shaped legs. The wooden elements of these furniture have not been restored, are in good, original condition, may have some small traces of use consistent with age.
