French antique bronze 5 light empire style chandelier. The chandelier is made up of a central column with a leaf and feather plume detail and decorative finial to the bottom. The arms are in a scroll design with beautiful leaf and acorn details and lead to round decorative candle drip holders and the candle drips are the old card type. The chandelier hangs from a large hoop 11 link chain5 of which are decorative, a bar and decorative cup style ceiling fitting.its french empire style is evident in its design, and it is an original antique piece that has retained its charm over the years. Its deep time worn patina adds to its overall antique appeal.the chandelier has its original twin core wiring and takes 5 small screw in bulbs e14s.the bronze is in good vintage condition with a lovely aged patina, age related marks and some verdigris. The candle drips have age related wear with some crumbling.
